ICT pour le Développement

Dans le cadre de la Chaire UNESCO, le CODEV implémente des Technologies de l’Information et des Communications pour le développement (ICT) pour répondre aux questions environnementales clés pour le développement des pays en développement et des pays émergents.

Son projet phare dans ce domaine concerne des stations hydrométéorologiques novatrices pour les pays en développement (Info4Dourou 2.0). 

 

Info4Dourou2.0 (2012-en cours)

Dans un contexte de changement climatique et de pression grandissante sur les ressources en eau, des partenaires du Nord et du Sud, des secteurs privés et universitaires, travaillent ensemble pour développer une technologie d’aide à l’irrigation au Burkina Faso, en collaboration avec des associations de petits producteurs pratiquant la micro-irrigation.

Info4Dourou (2008-2011)

Info4Dourou a pour objectif d’amener les communautés locales à mettre en place une gestion durable du territoire et des ressources naturelles, à l’échelle du bassin versant de la rivière Singou-Dourou. Le projet Info4Dourou soutien les communautés dans l’élaboration de stratégies de développement basées sur une exploitation rationnelle de l’eau, de l’agriculture, de la terre et des ressources forestières. Info4Dourou élabore un système innovant de soutien pour la planification pour les acteurs locaux. Info4Dourou soutien également des petits projets pilotes pour implémenter des applications en lien direct avec les préoccupations des populations locales.
