|EPFL and the Indian Institute of Technology of Madras (IITM), one of the foremost institutes in Asia in higher technological education, have jointly organised an interdisciplinary, multicultural innovative and high level postgraduate course on the role of technology and its integration in the context of an emerging country, the interactions technology has or could have with sustainable development.
The course has been conducted for 15 weeks from January to April 2002 in Madras and has permanently linked theory and practice.
The Course, although primarily aimed at engineers and architects is also open to professionals from other disciplines (economists, sociologists, lawyers,…).
